I was recommended to try DieselPowered after a friend had been & he was impressed with their work. I saw all of their 5-star reviews so thought I would give them a go. From the initial contact to the appointment on the day, Kris was great, very knowledgeable & happy to listen to what I wanted from the map. After carrying out pre-checks Kris was happy the car was healthy & started the custom map on the dyno. After a few hours he got the car to where he wanted it & took me out in the car so he could carry out further checks & log further data. I’m sure other tuners would just let you drive away! Chris managed to get an extra 30% gain on bhp and an extra 40% gain on torque all on a little 1.4 engine. He could of got more but we decided to stop while we were ahead and happy with the results. I visited DieselPowered recently after contacting Kristian via email to enquire about remapping my VW Caddy Maxi 2.0 TDI DSG (102PS). A few phone calls later and a discussion about what I wanted to achieve and I had my car booked in. The whole experience was a complete pleasure, Kristian is very knowledgeable and clearly enjoys what he does. Having already done some research around VW Caddy's and remapping I had a clear idea of what I wanted but was happy for Kristian to do what was necessary. I was in no way interested in chasing the biggest BHP figure possible but simply wanted a decent upgrade over standard. Kristian clearly enjoyed working on the Caddy and even though the process took a little longer than expected, multiple dyno runs and a test drive to check all was well and I was over the moon with the end result. The difference is like night and day now, I would have absolutely no issue in recommending Kristian. It's also worth noting that this was a custom tune and not some generic map put on the car.
