Engine Performance Remapping

We provide a completely bespoke performance tuning service at unbeatable rates for almost all common makes and models of vehicle including, (subject to vehicle type):

  • Customer consultation about what the customer would like to achieve and the vehicles capabilities
  • Initial assessment and state of health including OBD diagnostics of the engine management system and other modules as necessary
  • Initial power run on 2WD dyno to check starting power figures
  • Backing up of original ECU data
  • Initial remap including second power run to confirm gains
  • Datalogging and telemetry taken during power runs and test drives to ensure safety
  • Further adjustments as needed including subsequent dyno runs
  • Final test drive

We are not a generic ‘back of the car’ tuning outfit, and time is spent on your vehicle whether it’s standard or extremely modified, we value both our reputation and your car – so each vehicle is treated as a project and will be booked in for several hours (by comparison some tuners can be as short as 40 minutes without as much as a test drive). Throughout the process vehicle diagnostics are taken from the various computers within the vehicle, and every remap we develop is a one off for you and you alone. There may be similarities between tuning the same model of car, but each one becomes a project in it’s own right and no two vehicles leave our workshop with exactly the same file as no car, once it has some wear is exactly the same and our tuning work reflects that.

For vehicles that are permanently 4 wheel drive, or cannot be put on the two wheel drive dyno due to their configuration, we can still provide a performance tuning session at a slightly lower cost, the dyno tests are substituted for road tests, and telemetry/adjustments are done in the same way as they would be if the vehicle was on the dynamometer.

EGR/DPF Regeneration and Maintenance

We can provide the following services in respect to DPF and EGR systems:

DPF forced regeneration – if your DPF light is on, and the soot levels are high we can use our diagnostic tools to perform a forced/active regeneration which can help save the DPF from further clogging and needing replacement in the long term

DPF Removal – if the car is not used on the road, such as a track car, competition car, exported (i.e not subject to the rules governing emissions standards for road vehicles) then we can provide DPF removal services. We use a sister/partner garage for the physical DPF work, and apply the dpf removal removal software as we would any other map

DPF removal software – if you have removed your DPF (again, subject to the above emissions terms) and found the ECU has flagged a fault or light, we can provide the necessary remap to disable this and maintain full power

ADBlue/SCR – We can provide adblue removal, recalibration and recoding services where appropriate

EGR – We can provide modifications to the EGR system such as enabling/disabling and changing how it operates, we can also help identify and confirm faults with the EGR system

Transmission/Gearbox Tuning

It is often overlooked but vehicles with automatic transmissions and gearboxes can often also be tuned in their own right to help make a vehicle feel more responsive, sporty and even help with other aspects of performance tuning (such as remove torque limits).

We can improve the way you experience your existing power capability by adjusting aspects such as:

  • Gear shift points
  • Gearbox enforced engine rev limiters
  • Gearbox enforced torque limits
  • Gear shift speed
  • Clutch pressure

.

  • Engine diagnostics, fault codes and service light resets
  • Speed limiter adjustment
  • Swirl flap deletes
  • ECU clone, immobiliser work and repair
  • Disable start stop
  • Rev limiters
